Q: When are the Museum’s opening hours for the duration of the exhibition?
A: The Museum is open daily from 9.30am - 5pm. Excluding Christmas Day, Boxing Day and Good Friday.

Q: How long should I allow for my visit? 
A: 30-40 minutes on average

Q: Will I be asked to leave if I stay in the exhibition for a long period? 
A: No

Q: Can I get a pass out or use my ticket to re-enter the exhibit? 
A: There are no pass outs - exhibition tickets are single entry only.

Q: Can I take photos inside the exhibition? 
A: Yes, we encourage you to share your visit. No flash photography.

Q: Are there Auslan tours? Can I book an Auslan interpreter? 
A: Currently there are no scheduled tours. Please contact us about booking an Auslan interpreter.

Q: I have hearing difficulties. Can I still enjoy the film? 
A: Films are subtitled where required.

Q: I have difficulty reading the exhibition text in low light. 
A: Large print books are available for the exhibition to assist visitors who may have difficulty reading.

Q: Can I take in a pram? What items are not allowed in the exhibition? 
A: There is limited room for prams so we ask them to be left outside.

Q: Is the exhibit wheelchair friendly? 
A: Yes

Q: Is there seating within the exhibition?

A: No. Video theatre seating 

Q: Is the exhibition available in other languages?

A: No

Q: Will there be exhibition talks and events? 
A: Yes. There will be a number of After Dark and A Night at the Museum events held while the exhibition is at the Queensland Museum. Check the dates and Book online here

Q: Will there be a Curator’s Talk?
A: Yes, join us for a free talk 'Colosseum, Amphitheatre of the Emperors - curiosities and management of the most popular Gladiators Arena' with Dr Rossella Rea, Responsible Officer of the Colosseum, Rome, and Curator of Gladiators: Heroes of the Colosseum. Free, no booking required. Limited seats available Saturday, 24 June 2017, 11am & 1.30pm. Queensland Museum Theatre, Level 2. This lecture will be in Italian with English interpretation
